The Linwood Town Board on April 8 authorized up to $45,000 for a crack-filling project. There may be an attempt to combine this project and that of another township to secure more competitive bidding. Street cleaning will begin around May 1.
At the meeting, Mike Parker was appointed as a member of the Linwood Community and School Forest Committee. Emily Raml was appointed as the new committee chair, with Parker approved as vice-chair. Nancy Olson was hired to provide 10 hours a week of cleaning services for the senior center and town hall.
