Dance instructor Maggie Hoadley-Edwards, with professional dancers from Twin Cities and performers from The Dance Factory in Forest Lake, will appear at The Lab Theater in Minneapolis in her show “L’Heure de Minuit.”
Hoadley-Edwards is the choreographer, designer and a performer in this original theatrical Victorian carnival performance.
The show features eight professional dancers and 10 dance interns, along with live musicians. “L’Heure De Minuit” is an interactive event for all ages that offers music and dancing, unexpected sideshow acts, prizes and carnival games. The audience is encouraged to attend masked or in costume, with the best costume at each performance receiving a prize.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, May 29-31 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for seniors and children under 12. Purchase tickets online at www.thelabtheater.org.
Hoadley-Edwards has been dancing since she was 7 and started teaching in 1998. At Forest Lake’s Dance Factory, she works with the competition lines, dance team classes, and hip-hop recreational groups.
A shorter preview performance of her show, at Patrick’s Cabaret in November, sold out in one day.
