“The three P’s for writers” will help authors craft a product, get it published and promote it.
Northern Lights Writers will present “Product,” the first installment in its summer writing series, this Saturday, June 21.
“Product is what you put on the page: your blood, sweat and tears, the inspiration of your soul, your baby,” the writers group explains.
The first presentation will cover creating the story, including characterization, plot and conflict.
The presentation will be part of the June 21 meeting beginning at 10 a.m. the Wyoming Area Giese Memorial Library.
As always, members and guests are invited to come before the meeting for breakfast and conversation beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Village Inn in Wyoming.
The second presentation, on publishing, will cover finding an agent and editor, plus Indie print and e-books, at the July 19 meeting.
Promoting the book, including the use of social media and blogging, will be the topic on August 16.
Northern Lights Writers was formed in 2002 to supports and encourage its members on the road to publication.
