Toys for Tots
The Wireless Zone in Forest Lake is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign to collect new toys for less fortune children in the area during Christmas. The location, at 209 12th St. SW, will have a box in the shop beginning this week through the end of the season for locals to drop off donations.
Turkey bowling
The Forest Lake American Legion, 355 W. Broadway Ave., will host turkey bowling at 7 p.m. Nov. 23 with music by Drop Tailgate.
Tacos and trivia
The Forest Lake American Legion, 355 W. Broadway Ave., will host an end to turkey season taco and trivia party at 7 p.m. Nov. 26.
Hometown holiday
On Nov. 26, the Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, in coopersation with the Forest Lake Parks, Lakes, and Trails Commission, will be hosting “A Hometown Holiday,” a day of special events meant to stimulate traffic for local businesses, capping off with the annual Forest Lake Christmas Tree Lighting at 5 p.m. in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Swim and dive fundraiser
The Forest Lake swim and dive teams will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser with seating from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 29 at the American Legion, 556 12th St. Cost is $10 per plate. There will also be prize drawings.
Anyone can fall
Cherrywood Pointe, 231 W. Broadway Ave., will host an “Anyone Can Fall” seminar from 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 29.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
Youth Performing Arts will present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Forest Hills United Methodist Church Dec. 2 at 7 p.m., Dec. 3 at 3 and 7 p.m., and Dec. 4 at 2 and 6 p.m.
Masquers Theatre Presents “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”
The theater production will take place at the The Forest Lake American Legion, 355 W. Broadway Ave., December 2 to18 on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Free concert
The Silver Harmony Singers will perform a free holiday concert from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Forest Lake Senior Center, 767 4th St. SW. Cookies and refreshments will be served after the show.
