The criticism of Forest Lake’s downtown road improvements should have
ended last year. In reality, they should have been history in the fall
of 2007.
But it hasn’t ended as the Open Forum column of this newspaper has been
filled with opinions from area residents who are bemoaning the downtown
project. At the center of the debate, of course, is that hated
roundabout at Lake and Broadway.
