Drive on to help soldier in Iraq

5218iraqdrive.jpgWhen the staff at Roxy’s Total Image in Forest Lake learned that a client’s son was serving in Iraq and needed supplies from home, they jumped in to help and are wearing red every Friday as a sign of support for all military personnel. Through this week, the salon will collect hair and skin care products that Carrie Ann Withrow will send to her son in Iraq. Withrow is also asking for donations of lip balm, foot powder, peanuts, beef jerky, and candy. In particular demand are Salted Nut Rolls, a favorite of many of the troops. Pictured here with a collection of beauty salon products are Roxy’s employees Peggy, Roxy, Jade, Chris, Paula, Lacey, Brenda and Sherry. Donated items can be left at Roxy’s, 1031 S. Lake St.
