The end of an academic quarter tends to be a difficult time for both the athletes as well as their coaches. The stress level is up, the sleep hours are down, and oftentimes a team’s performance will start to sag.

Swim team piles up personal bests

Now that January is rapidly disappearing, the competitions get a little more serious and they carry a little more weight.
 

RECORD BREAKER: The Ranger swimming and diving team may not have won last week, but that didn’t slow Elijah Miller. The senior set records at both Forest Lake and the Section True Team Meet.  

On Martin Luther King Day, the Forest Lake dance team had its own, smaller-scale version of a dream, and in the Suburban East Conference finals, that dream came true. 

Wrestling's Alumni Night this Friday

On Friday, Jan. 25, as part of the Forest Lake wrestling team's "Main Event” match against No. 2 ranked Hastings, the Rangers are also holding Alumni Night. All wrestling alums are invited to attend, including wrestlers, coaches, cheerleaders, statisticians and managers. Girls hockey team faces Roseville Saturday 

The bad news that has followed the girls hockey team over the past month, kept on writing more negative material last week.

CHARGING AHEAD: The girls hockey team has suffered through some difficult times since its great start, but Ashley Grell and the Rangers aren’t backing down.

Somewhere in between a seven-game winning streak, and pair of losses to inferior opponents over the past two weeks, must exist the real Forest Lake girls basketball team.

ALL As: Adri Acosta has worked her way into the Forest lake rotation and provided another option for head coach Jen Wagner.
