Jack D. Reese, 76, Forest Lake, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008.
A celebration of his life was Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, Forest Lake, with interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty; son Mark (Lori) Reese; daughters Melissa (Mark) Felland and Mary (Stephan) Twist; grandchildren, Emma Grace, Jack and Marcella Reese and Jon, Daniel and Anna Felland; twin sister Janice (Jim) Behrendt; brother Willard “Bill” (Yvonne) Reese; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be dedicated to the Community Scholarship Foundation of Forest Lake where a scholarship will be created in Jack’s honor

Gerald F. Tadych, 66, Forest Lake, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.
A celebration of his life will take place at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice; children Scott (Jeanne), Lori (Tim) Johnson; grandchildren, Mike (Kellie), Jacquelin (Joshua) Fisher, Nicole; great grandchildren, Bailey and Logan; niece Michelle Dibblee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Clara; one sister, Shirley Dibblee.
Memorials are preferred to the family.

Ardella J. Gassler, 73, Wyoming, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008.
A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29 at Crossroads Church, 17671 Glacier Way, Lakeville.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Alan) Hoppe, Steven Brown, Sherri (Greg) Gestach, Tammy (David) Donner, Bruce (Paula) Kliedon, Bradley Kleidon, Lori Stenson, Will Kleidon and Nikki (Dan) Hollihan; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette (Dale) Torgerson; one brother, Wayne (Kathy) Norstedt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Gassler; granddaughter Patricia Ann Stanger; and her parents, Edwin and Myrtle Norstedt.

Lillian C. Goetz, 88, Scandia, formerly of Hibbing, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 after a brief struggle with cancer.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Nov. 26 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Forest Lake, with interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Fred (Mary), Patricia (Al) Boll, Darlene (John) Abt, Cathy (Dale) Carlstrom; 15 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends Mona and Pat.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Lenny; four brothers and three sisters.
Memorials are preferred to the Tuba City Indian Medical Center for the medical needs of Navajo and Hopi Indian Tribes, Tuba City, AZ 86045.

Glenn H. Gruett, 71, Linwood Township, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008.
A memorial service is planned for noon, Saturday, Nov. 29 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Linwood Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; children, Timothy (Terri), Gregory (Kathy), Fred (Sandy) Dewall, Denise (Mark) Kewitsch; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Marlene (Palmer) Hyland, 71, Largo, FL, formerly of Forest Lake, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, in Florida.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Somerset, WI.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorri Hyland and Janet (Warren) Rivard; three grandchildren, Todd, Matthew and Jenna; one brother, Barney Palmer; other relatives and friends.

Gary F. Menne, 64, Wyoming, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at Birchwood Health Care Center, Forest Lake, from complications of a stroke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes. Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lino Lakes.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 5 at Chisago Lakes Baptist Church, 9387 Wyoming Trail, Chisago City. The family will greet friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Vera, Forest Lake; children, Tim (Sharon) Robinson, Kasota, and Corliss (Tyrone) Vadner, Forest Lake; grandchildren Matthew L. Robinson, Marit (Tom) Shepard, Emily Vadner and Kyle Vadner; and nieces and nephews.
