Mildred “Milly” Erickson, 94, Scandia, died Thursday, May 1, 2008.
A funeral service was Saturday, May 3 at Elim Lutheran Church, Scandia, with interment at the Elim Lutheran Church Cemetery.
She is survived by three children, Carol (Jim) Moody, Janet Thompson, Dennis Erickson; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Gwen Nelson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, Wayne; one great-granddaughter; 12 siblings; and one son in law, Marlin Thompson.
Memorials are preferred to the family.

Carl “Jim” Collen, 73, Coon Lake, died Sunday, April 27, 2008.
A funeral service was Wednesday, April 30 at Mattson Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A private family interment was planned.
He is survived by his sisters, Irene (Mylo) Lundquist, Marlene and Janet Collen; brother, Richard; brother-in-law, Lou Saenger; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters Gertrude, Ethel, Dorothy and Marie; brothers, Stan, Ray and Les.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or the donor’s choice.

Willard James Houle, 91, Forest Lake, died Friday, April 25, 2008.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, April 28 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Forest Lake, with interment at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 5 at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joan; sons, Jim (Sherri), Gary (Julie), Jeff (Cindy), Greg (Debbie); daughter Mary (Lyle) Koski; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, June Patrin; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony.

Charleen M. Kunshier, 93, Forest Lake, formerly of the Stacy and Hugo areas, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Birchwood Health Care Center in Forest Lake.
A funeral service was Friday, April 25 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stacy, with Rev. Ed Wheatley officiating. Interment was at Stacy Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Raymond) Mudrick, Stacy, and Marti (Lon) Nelson, Elkhart, IN; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, and son, Roger.

Steven Frokjer, 59, Forest Lake, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his home.
A family visitation and a celebration of his life was Sunday, April 20 at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake, with interment at New Home Cemetery, Eureka Township, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane (Goblisch) Frokjer; two sons, Karson (Nicole) and Mitchell; mother, Frances (Eggers) Frokjer; brother, Garland Frokjer; nieces and nephews; and special friends from the Forest Lake 156 Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Frokjer.

A funeral service will be at noon, Saturday, April 26 at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Mahtomedi.

Heidi Ostrander, 49, Forest Lake, formerly of Minot, ND, died Friday, April 18, 2008, following a lengthy illness.
A gathering of family and friends is scheduled at 6 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, with a time for sharing at 7.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; other family members and many friends.

Shawn Spjut, 47, Scandia, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Scandia.
Family visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Friday, April 25 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A service celebrating his life will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his children, Donald, Shaunna and Dakota; many siblings, nieces and nephews; other family and friends.
