Ruth I. Erickson, 91, Forest Lake, formerly of Ham Lake, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008.
A funeral service was Monday, Jan. 21 at Mattson Funeral Home. Interment was at Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry and Steve (Vona); daughters, Betty (Joey) Stiles and Lori (John) Hill; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Folsom; many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; son, Bennett Thurber; daughter, Darlene Keehr; grandson, Douglas Keehr; son-in-law, Richard Keehr; sister, Anna Hudson.

Lucille D. Hays, 83, Wyoming, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008.
A funeral service was Friday, Jan. 18 at Mattson Funeral Home, Forest Lake. Interment was at Wyoming United Methodist Cemetery, Wyoming.
She is survived by husband, Charles; children, Charyl (Robert) Kendall, and Kevin (Roselyn) Hays; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Evan and Jim Hopkins; and sister, Karen Kozak.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rebecca Lain and daughter-in-law, Kathryn Hays.

Robert F. Jeukens, 77, Forest Lake, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 25 and 9-10 a.m., Saturday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials are preferred.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Marilyn; children, Rhonda (Scott) Schramm, Randy Jeukens, Rochelle Elie; step-children, Nancy (Paul) Burns, Curtis (Mary Sandell) Patak; step-grandchildren, Zachary (Sheena) Burns, Jacob Burns, Noah Burns, Miles Patak; siblings, Doris (Clem) Schlosser, Wayne (Jo) Jeukens, Arlene Michael, Lois (Vern) May, William (Gloria) Jeukens; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise (Stassen); one sister, Jean Jorgenson.

Ellen Beverly Schwan, 76, Wyoming, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008.
A funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
She is survived by children, Len (Ingrid) Schwan and Mary (John) Peterson; six grandchildren; one sister Leona (John) Lane; many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Violet Judith Oquist, 95, Virginia, formerly of Lindstrom and Melrude, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at the Virginia Convalescent Care Center.
At her request, there was no formal funeral service.
She is survived by her children, Juanita (Edward) Markgraf, Melrude, and Reynold (Dorothy) Oquist, St. Louis Park; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; six brothers; one sister.

A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Dorothea; former wife and mother of their three sons, Alice Swanson; sons, Wayne (Jane), Warren (Desiree) and Wallace (Kim); step-daughter Karen (Lawrence) Hiles; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; siblings, Rosina Chaffee, Mary Poveda, Anthony, Edward (Penny), Romaine; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Baron); brothers, Joseph, Jerome and Roland.

A funeral service is set for 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at Faith Lutheran Church, 885 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will take place from noon-2 p.m., Friday at the church. Interment will be at Birchdale, Minnesota.
She is survived by her sons, James and John Jr. (Mary); 10 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John W., Sr.; daughter, Darlene Swenson; daughter-in-law, Donna Baudler; son-in-law, Harvey Swenson.
