Robert V. DenBeste

Robert V. DenBeste, 64, Forest Lake, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 3 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Oxford Union Cemetery, Oxford Township.

He is survived by his children, Mia (Nick) Pamel, Joe (Nicole Dirks) DenBeste; and one brother, Eugene (Diane) DenBeste.

 
Joyce G.Hagen

Joyce G. Hagen, 80, Forest Lake, died Sunday, May 23, 2010. She was an elementary school teacher for 37 years.

A celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, June 4, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 9185 Lexington Avenue NE, Circle Pines. Interment took place last week at Oakland Cemetery, Marine on the St. Croix.

She is survived by her niece Ann Brown; many cousins, friends and devoted caregivers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ann (Dalluge) Brown; husband Donald Hagen; one brother, Owen Brown.

Memorials are preferred to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, or Parmly LifePointes, 28210 Old Towne Road, Chisago City, MN 55013. They may be sent in care of Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025.

 
Thad Joselyn

Thad Joselyn, 47, Wyoming, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Wyoming Fire Department.

A funeral service was Wednesday, June 2 at Immanuel Church, 9511 W. Broadway, Forest Lake. Interment was at Wyoming United Methodist Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Sandy; their children, Jordan, Collin and Brenna; parents, Blair and Carol Joselyn; one sister, Julie (Rick) Laube; and other extended family members.

Memorials preferred to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and may be sent in care of Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025.

 
Vivian G.Wieden

Vivian G. Wieden (nee Osterbauer), 82, New Richmond, WI, formerly of Forest Lake,  died Friday, May 28, 2010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 3 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, June 3 at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Drive, Forest Lake.
Interment will be at  Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Karen) Osterbauer, Barbara (Jeff) Surine and Linda (Rick) Stefonek; grandchildren, Nicole (fiancé, Jeff) Brian (Jill), Jonathan, David and Julia; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Jack.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Osterbauer and William Wieden; parents, Atchjen and Alfred “Plaster” Johnson; brothers, Gordon, Raymond, Vernon and William.

Memorials are preferred to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, St. Peter’s Catholic School, 1250 South Shore Drive in Forest Lake, or The Deerfield.

Bonnie M. Womack

Bonnie M. Womack, 74, formerly of Scandia, died Thursday, May 27, 2010.

Per Bonnie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.  Bonnie and Tex’s final resting place will be in Grand Portage, MN.

She is survived by her son, Scott (Jean) Womack; adopted son, Ken Alton; grandchildren, Dana (Shawn) Bona, Jamie (David) Robotti, Nicole (Pat) Grubbs; great-grandchildren, Dakota Grubbs, Orrin and Hazle Robotti; one sister, Faye O’Rouke; many other special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Tex” Womack.

 
May L. Damsgard

May L. Damsgard, 93, Forest Lake, died Sunday, May 23, 2010.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, May 27 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, with interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Columbus.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Roxy) Damsgard; grandchildren Dawn, Katrina (Mike) Brinatte and Jaanus; great-grandchildren Ariel, Shania, Nate, Chayanne and Cordel; and many other relatives and friends.

 
Raymond Carl Fuller

Raymond Carl Fuller, 69, Amarillo, TX, formerly of Forest Lake and St. Paul, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Texas. He served in the Vietnam War as a paratrooper in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division.

A memorial and burial service was Thursday, May 20 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, East Amarillo, TX.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Billie Lou (Malloy) Fuller; two sons, Lawrence Fuller and Nicholas (Tiffanie) Fuller, both of Forest Lake; one daughter, Lori (Steven) Wacha, North Branch; grandchildren DeNay, Kyle, Zachary, Kacey and Conner; former wife, Veronica Fuller, Forest Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ida (Benke) Fuller.

Kathy M. Grubbs (nee Donaghue), 52, Stacy, died Sunday, May 23, 2010.

A memorial service was Wednesday, May 26 at Mattson Funeral Home, Forest Lake.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gordy; their children, Travis (Arianne) Grubbs and Misty (Scott) Geschwill; two grandchildren; one brother, Larry (Terri) Donaghue; one sister, Cindy (Willy) Hagen; several other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Patrin) Donaghue.
