Henrietta M. Green

Henrietta M. Green, 67, Hugo, died, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.

A graveside funeral service was Friday, Oct. 23 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Hugo.

She is survived by her children, Jane, Paul, Paula, Ronnie and Ricky; several grandchildren and great- grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Gregoire, Jim Gregoire and Joe Gregoire.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Luella (Rogalla) Gregoire; one sister, Mary Lou.

 
Robert P. Martin

Robert P. Martin, 66, Forest Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.

A celebration of his life will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday Oct. 29th at the Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Krista (Toll) Martin; daughters, Lisa (James) Gaiovnik and Tonja (Kenneth) Tidgwell; granddaughters, Madison and Samantha Tidgwell; sister, Leila Samantha Martin; brother William (Karen) Martin; sister-in-law, Linda Martin; mother-in-law, Ione Toll; in-laws, Thomas (Kathy) Toll, Ann (Craig) Myers and Joy (Toll) Janis; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip D. and Alice M. (Burrows) Martin; one brother, Theodore D. Martin; father-in-law, Marlin R. Toll; and brother-in-law, Dr. Keith Toll.

Memorials are preferred to the family.

 
Jacquelyn Newman

Jacquelyn Shirley (Anderson) Newman, 80, Forest Lake, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald Newman; sons, Scott and Mark; brothers, Donald “Sonny” Anderson and Gerald Anderson; very dear friend Dorothy Nelson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Gladys Anderson.

 
Tammy R. Omernik

Tammy R.Omernik, 41, of Wyoming, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Nancy and Hank Wallraff, Sr.; father and step-mother, Roger and Cindy Omernik; one sister, Donna (Rick) Nelson; step-brothers, Jim (Careen) Wallraff and Hank Wallraff, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Mae Stoltz; nephews, Evan, Aaron and  Nathan Krzewina; best friend Korine Krogstad; and several aunts, uncles, cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

 
Kenneth Axel Johnson
Kenneth Axel Johnson, 71, Forest Lake, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009. He was a volunteer at Community Helping Hands, Forest Lake.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 22 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday and 9-10 a.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Cheryl Kempf, Warren (Mary Kay) Johnson, Greg (Patricia) Johnson, Marcellina (Miguel) Hernandez, Dawna (Adam) Vaughn, Walter (Kim) Paugel, Darin (Audra) Johnson, John Paugel and his fiancée Paige; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Geraldine (Al) Pulcifer and Dorothy (Everett) Johnson; other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Axel and Margaret (Arth) Johnson; one son-in-law, Marc Kempf.
 
Donald T. Moorhouse
Donald T. Moorhouse, 64, Piney Flats, TN, formerly of the Forest Lake and Columbus area, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN.

A gathering of remembrance service was Saturday, Oct. 24 at New Bethel Presbyterian Church, Piney Flats, where he spent the past 15 years as a minister and associate pastor.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay Moorhouse; three daughters, Michelle (Charlie) Morgan, Williamsburg, VA, Melissa (Brian) Fortner, Harrisonburg, VA, and Melanie Moorhouse, Piney Flats; two brothers: Richard (Virginia) Moorhouse,  Mountain City, and Robert (Diane) Moorhouse, Forest Lake; grandchildren: Kaitlin Jo Foreman, Thomas Foreman, Jeremy Foreman, Channing Bennett, Cole Fortner, Jaedon Bennett and Ainslee Fortner; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mervin and Eunice Waddell Moorhouse; one sister, Joan Moorhouse Duncan; and one brother, William Moorhouse.

Dorothy P. Nagle
Dorothy Patricia Nagle, 90, Centerville, formerly of Chicago, IL, and Lakewood, CO, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009.

A Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Oct. 21 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Forest Lake, with interment at Fort Logan National  Cemetery, CO.

She is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Nagle; and many nieces and nephews in Chicago and Denver.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Patrick in 1990 and J. Nestler in 1944; parents, John and Louise Kane; brothers, John E. Kane and James A. Kane; sister-in-law, Eileen M. Feeney.
 
Lewisa K. Olsen
Lewisa K. Olsen, 94, Forest Lake and Columbus, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 at Birchwood Health Care Center, Forest Lake.

A celebration of her life will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Victor Hill Cemetery, Forest Lake.

She is survived by her children, Donald, Garry (Maureen) and Alan (Sue); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hance and Lillie (Gartmann) Mardin; husband, Christian Olsen; one son, Max; siblings, Pearl, William, Leona, Tillie, Johnny and Marie.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
