Forty advanced students of Robin Lind’s Dance Tech Dance Studios had a once in a lifetime opportunity to take a class taught by Mia Michaels, pictured far right, the most sought after choreographer/instructor in the country right now. Michaels is best known for contemporary dance choreography. She also won an Emmy award for her work on the FOX television show “So You Think You Can Dance.” Lind was with her daughter, Kourtni, in New York taking classes at the Pulse Convention when the owner of the dance studio was able to get Michael’s assistant to come in and teach her students in Forest Lake. However, Lind was more than thrilled when Michaels agreed to come and instruct the class personally. Michaels visited Dance Tech on December 3rd.
