Major signs of progress have been found at the Forest Lake Sports Center site here in recent days. Construction crews were busy raising the precast walls in the past few days following the final steps in the site work for the new ice arena complex. The sports center, located in the city of Forest Lake's Headwaters Development near the new library and county government center, is shooting for a September  opening.
