Police say Scandia man took own life |

A man found dead in Forest Lake early Sunday night died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Forest Lake Chief of Police Clark Quiring said. Police were called to Calvary Cemetery at 6:05 p.m. after receiving a call from the public. At the cemetery, Quiring said officers found a 55-year-old Scandia man dead from the self-inflicted gunshot wound. The chief said the man was found on the grave of his son. Forest Lake Fire & Rescue and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Officer were called to assist with the incident, the chief said.
