Just More Books opens in FL’s downtown |

Just More Books, a used book store that opened in Forest Lake’s downtown on July 1st, is a venture for local residents Julie and Mike Vinar.
Just More Books is located in The Towers, 146 N. Lake St., with parking on Lake Street and in the west-side parking lot of the office complex.
Some 8000 books are now featured in the store inventory and another 21,000 titles are yet to be offered to the public.
“We’ve started out adding to the inventory on a daily basis,” Julie Vinar said.
The store is offering a full range of book categories that include: fiction, non-fiction, education, biographies, history, mystery, cooking, animal, travel, self help and more.
The store has a special “Buck-A-Back” section and also carries a selection of books on tape.
The store is the result of a family accumulation of books over a 10-year period. Other resources are also being deployed to acquire additional inventory.
“We’re excited and we are getting a lot of positive feedback,” she adds. “It’s nice to see.”
The owners are offering Just More Books as a gathering place for area book clubs and in August will offer children’s storytime. The storytime will open at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 2. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Just More Books is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
