Columbus City passes 2007 levy |

At its Wednesday, Dec. 12 council meeting, the Columbus City Council passed Resolution 07-41, approving the 2007 tax levy. The resolution states that the following sums of money, in the amount of $1,855,471, will be levied for the current year, collectable in 2008 upon the taxable property in the city of Columbus. The amount is a 9.76 percent increase from the previous year.
