Getting ready for Fall Steam Day

 The section crew at the Ironhorse Central Railroad Museum is getting ready to make steam. The Thompson family and friends were hard at it on a nice fall day, moving rail cars into position in preparation for the Ironhorse Central Autumn Leaves Fall Special on Saturday, Oct. 18. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 18, the railroad museum will be open and rail fans can take rides on an excursion train pulled by the museum’s steam locomotive, or hop on the Bumble Bee Express for a quick ride. The Ironhorse Central Railroad Museum is located at 24880 Morgan Ave., Chisago City, just north of Bone Lake in Chisago Lake Township. Call 651-336-4531 for more information.
