Karla Hult to lead YSB Stepping Out for Youth Gala Oct. 25

Plan now to join Master of Ceremonies Karla Hult, Forest Lake native and KARE-11 reporter, at the 4th Annual Stepping Out for Youth Gala on Saturday, Oct. 25.
This year’s event, which benefits the Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau (YSB), at Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus features an elegant champagne reception, fine dining, entertainment by Cliff Brunzell and members of Twin Cities favorites, The Golden Strings, and a live auction.
Portrait photography will be provided by Heatherjo Gilbertson, Personal Image Photography. Dinner wines are being sponsored by the Forest Lake Rotary Club. Mayor Mel and Mrs. Barb Mettler are serving as Honorary Chair Couple.
The live auction will feature ten unset gemstones and a week at a time share in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. To view photos of gemstones and other items being auctioned, please visit www.ysblakesarea.org.
Additional items donated to the auction include a wine rack hand crafted by Matt Howard complete with wine, a child’s rocking chair made by John Barney, snowmobile suits for a family of four donated by Polaris Industries, a day fishing trip with “The Fishin’ Mortician” Paul Hutchison and a queen-sized, hand-pieced quilt made by Julie Utecht.

Last year YSB provided direct service to over 1,200 youth and their families. All proceeds from the event will be used to support Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau programs serving residents in Washington and Anoka Counties served by the Forest Lake School District and all residents in Chisago County.
