Fast action by firefighters from three departments limited damage to Premier Marine, Inc. in Wyoming after a fire was reported by the business in the Wyoming Industrial Park shortly after noon on Wednesday, Dec. 26. The Wyoming Fire Department was called to 26612 Fallbrook Ave. after a fire was discovered burning near an exhaust fan in the northwest wall of the Premier Marine welding shop. Firefighters from Forest Lake and Stacy responded to a mutual aid call for help.
Scott Dexter, interim police chief in Wyoming, said damage was contained to the north wall and ceiling of the building, but the welding work area was not damaged by the fire. No major business disruption is anticipated, Dexter said. Firefighters from the three departments were released from the scene at 5:11 p.m
