FL police arrest 2 men wanted for robbery PDF Print

Two men wanted in Roseville for simple  robbery were arrested by police in Forest Lake on Sunday after a 10 minute foot chase. Police in Forest Lake said the two men, both from the Forest Lake area, were apprehended after they were spotted in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, 200 SW 12th St. According to Forerst Lake police, both men fled on foot after being identified.

One was arrested after entering China Buffet, 1331 SW 3rd Ave. He was stopped as he attempted to flee through a back door, police said. The second man fled to the east and entered Rainbow Foods, 289 SW 12th St. He was arrested as he fled through a fire exit door on the east side of the grocery store. Police made the initial indentification at noon and had both men in custody within 10 minutes, officers said.

The two men, ages 39 and 28, are both known subjects to police in Forest Lake, said Sgt. Sean Lafferty, who made the initital identification of one of the men and coordinated the police operation. The men were turned over to police in Roseville where they will be processed and booked in the Ramsey County Jail. Police in Forest Lake cited both men for fleeing on foot. Police here thanked cooperative citizens for providing information and assisting officers in making the quick apprehension. The robbery case in Roseville reportedly happened several days ago.
