Ready for winter's arrival |

 City of Forest Lake street crews are ready and waiting for the arrival
of winter. Street department crew member John Moxness climbed high atop
this huge pile of recycled sand that will be spread on the gravel roads
in the city to help keep them free of ice. The mixture was used during
the summer sealcoating project and then recaptured for a second use
during the winter. Crews may get their first taste of winter on
Saturday when snow is in the forecast. (Photo By Cliff Buchan)
