Six finalists have been named for the post of superintendent of schools in Forest Lake, and three of the candidates are local, in-district employees.

The six candidates are:

•Julia Espe, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, St. Cloud Area Schools.

•Paul Durand, Superintendent, Winona Area Schools.

•Linda Madsen, Director of Teaching and Learning, Forest Lake.

•Roche Martin, Principal of Linwood Elementary School.

•Steve Massey, Principal of Forest Lake High School.

•Jamie Skjeveland, Superintendent, Crosby-Ironton School District.

The schedule

The weekend schedule for interviews will be as follows:

Friday — 5:30 p.m., school board orientation; 6-7,    Linda Madsen; 7:05-8:05, Steve Massey; 8:10-9:10, Jamie Skjeveland.

Saturday — 5-6, Julia Espe; 6:15-7:15, Paul Durand; 7:20-8:20, Roche Martin.

8:30  p.m., school board deliberations and selection of two or three finalists.
