Friday is the date for this year’s Forest Lake High School Agriculture Department Open House. The annual free event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is in conjunction with the FFA plant sale. Students will have exhibits and demonstrations to showcase projects developed in agriculture classes. Agriculture groups, government agencies and local businesses will also be available with educational displays. In addition, local colleges will be available to promote agricultural careers and post-secondary education options. For the plant sale, a variety of quality annual bedding plants and vegetables will be available for public purchase.
