| Forest Lake sweeps to volleyball section finals |

On the heels of a three-game sweep of Elk River in the Section 7AAA volleyball quarterfinals, the Ranger volleyball team won another 3-0 match in the semifinals. Forest Lake controlled Duluth East Wednesday night to the tune of 25-19, 25-9, 25-11 to reach Saturday's section final, where they will face top-seeded Andover for the right to go to state. The match has been moved to North Branch High School and will begin at 7 p.m. The Huskies swept Anoka in their semifinal match. Andover is 22-7 and ranked eighth in Class 3A.
