Well over $1000 was raised this week for Haiti relief efforts by students at Forest Lake High School who are members of the school’s Open Minds Club and Rotary Interact Club. The students set up shop with a donations table in the school cafeteria before school and during lunch period to collect funds from students and school staff members. All the funds raised during the drive will be donated a relief agency now on the ground in Haiti in the wake of the deadly earthquake on Jan. 12. Pictured this week during the drive are some of the students who worked on the project through their respective clubs at the high school.
