Swim teams need assistance
The Forest Lake aquatic teams could use your help. After the Wavemakers booster club purchased the new scoreboard and sound system, they now have an understandable shortage in funds. The school district is unable to lend support, but the teams' are now in need of basic items.
• Eight gymnastics mats (bi-folds, 10x3)
• Free weights. ie., 5, 10, 15-pound hand weights
• Padded weight bench
• Aerobic steps (height of 10" or more)
• Jump ropes, big enough for tall boys
• Rubber dot mats (rubber pads that are approximately 1/2" thick. 4x4)
• New or used camera and TiVo system.
For those who can help, contact Deb Welch at 651-464-0886, or simply bring the items to the Southwest Junior High pool.
