Anderson still running 8th in Alaska

Ken Anderson remains in eighth place in the 2010 Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska. With a team of dogs fresh from an eight-hour required rest, Anderson left Galena at 2:53 a.m. on Saturday running in tandem with Sabastian Schnuelle. Both are chasing front runner Jeff King who was resting at the next checkpoint, Nulato. King has a lead of one hour and 24 minutes over Lance Mackey.
