Poets’ Night in Marine is Friday, Dec. 14

Come enjoy the first-ever Local Poets’ Night taking place in Marine on Friday, Dec. 14 from 6-9 p.m.
At 6 p.m., fellow revelers will meet at Marine General Store located at 101 Judd St., for readings of favorite food poems, which is a rich genre.
Following at 7 p.m., festivities will proceed to Marine Branch Library for another hour of readings.
Finally, the night will be topped off at Roberta’s Coffee Shop with a closing round of poems and cups of coffee-scented cocoa and cider.
The poetry event is produced by Arcola Mills with funding support from The Mardag Foundation in partnership with Marine Branch Library, Marine General Store and Roberta’s Coffee Shop.
It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be made available for purchase at Marine General Store and Roberta’s Coffee Shop.
