Vietnam Veterans Day, a new event recently approved by the Minnesota State Legislature, will be observed in Forest Lake on Saturday. A program is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at the Washington County Hardwood Creek Library in the new government center here. Vietnam veteran Jim Noll of Forest Lake is the guest speaker. The morning events will include a reading of a city proclamation for the day to honor Vietnam vets, the reading of a winning essay by a Forest Lake High School student and a round table discussion of the Vietnam War led by Noll and fellow Vietnam veteran Ron Lasiuta of Forest Lake.
