Are you like many with boxes upon boxes of old tax records and bank statements? Not sure how to dispose of them? Jerry Hendrickson of Security-Victor Insurance Agency, 5357 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, has the answer. The agency is sponsoring a free shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 19. “This is a great opportunity to get rid of old tax records and empty file cabinets of sensitive documents,” Hendrickson said. Area residents may bring their documents to the Security-Victor parking lot for document destruction. Items will be shred as you watch. Free coffee and rolls will be served. As a special community service, the agency will also donate $10 to Community Helping Hand in Forest Lake for each bag or box of items shredded (up to $500). For more information about the April 19 free shredding event, call 651-462-3724.
