Community members are needed to help the Forest Lake School District review its future technology and facility needs. A task force will be forming to conduct a gap analysis of the district’s current facilities and technology needs and consider what it should look like in the future. The gap analysis process is part of the district’s strategic plan. Over the past three years, community members and staff have worked together to re-evaluate the district’s mission statement and beliefs, and set new goals and objectives. The planning process allows people concerned with the future of the schools to come together to discuss the values and beliefs of the district.Members of the Strategic Planning Gap Analysis Task Force will need to be able to meet once a month in the evenings beginning in May through this coming fall. The task force will present recommendations for future technology and facilities needs to the strategic planning committee later this fall. To be considered for the task force, contact Larry Martini at 651-982-8125. Application information is also available on the district’s website at www.forestlake.k12.mn.us. Applications are due April 30.
