Dave Purdy, president of Wealth Management Midwest, LLC, 20 N. Lake St., will host a two-part educational event on Thursday, May 8 at Stars & Strikes Entertainment Center, 5063 273rd St., Wyoming. The public is invited to attend this free event that will include a 20-minute presentation, “Investing in America — Real Estate,” featuring Inland Securities Corporation. The second part of the May 8 event is wine tasting, featuring Robert Marx, of MT Global Wines, an importer of fine wines. Registration on May 8 begins at 6:30 with the program starting at 7.
