Andrew Miron, a member of the Forest Lake FFA chapter, placed first in the Creed Speaking Career Development Event which was held at the University of Minnesota during the Minnesota FFA Convention on April 29. The FFA Creed was written by E. M. Tiffany in 1930 to represent the ideals, values, and purposes of the National FFA Organization and its members. Participants in this CDE recite the FFA Creed and relate its meaning to their personal life. As the state winner, Miron will now advance to national competition in October. “I am looking forward to representing the Forest Lake FFA at the national level,” Miron said. He is the son of Fran and Mary Ann Miron of Hugo.
