The second annual Alissa M. Haines Stomp Out Suicide Race For Awareness attracted about 1,400 people to Wyoming’s Goodview Park Saturday.
When a Wyoming family lost its loved one to suicide in December 2011, it chose to fight back. Most recently, one relative has been on a special journey since June.
Last year’s inaugural run/walk put on by Stomp Out Suicide can be described only as an overwhelming success.
An estimated 800 runners and walkers turned out at Goodview Park in Wyoming on Saturday morning for the first Alissa M. Haines Stomp Out Suicide 5K Run/Walk.
