The fifth annual holiday silent auction goes until Dec. 21 at Community Helping Hand in Forest Lake. The auction is a major fund-raiser for the food shelf. Proceeds are used to pay for holiday meals the pantry provides at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The silent auctions raised $1,507 last year, up $465 from the year before. [...]
