How to get junior high students a performance stage was a major topic at Monday’s School Board work session. It was the group’s final meeting before members are expected to vote Thursday, Dec. 5, on whether to ask voters next year to support a levy for school facilities.
Last year the school district’s facilities task force recommended a bold plan to replace aging systems at the elementary schools and to combine the secondary schools on a single campus.
When the school facilities task force members presented their findings in April, they recommended a total cost not to exceed $130 million.
