As construction company Kraus Anderson’s project manager for the Forest Lake City Center, it falls to him to decipher a projected completion date for the $18.76 million project after crews lost 18 days of work over the first two months of 2014 due to the weather.
The Minnesota Court of Appeals has affirmed a district court’s ruling that the issuance of revenue bonds to fund construction of the Forest Lake City Center was done in a legal manner and did not require a public election.
With action taken by the Economic Development Authority Monday night, the Forest Lake City Center project is essentially bid out. Besides future change orders, that means the total cost can be estimated with confidence.
