At its Jan. 9 meeting, the Wyoming City Council approved the purchase of a Caterpillar 942K loader for the public works department.
Polaris is expanding its facility in Wyoming, and as a result of council action taken on Thursday, it now will have help from the Minnesota Investment Fund as well as benefits from the remaining years of the Minnesota JOBZ program and the city tax abatement program established earlier this year.
Polaris has made its commitment to expand its research and development center in Wyoming. The City Council approved the development agreement between the City of Wyoming and Polaris Industries Inc. at the meeting Oct. 16.
