After closing their regular season last Thursday with a 4-3 win over Bloomington Jefferson at home, the sixth-seeded Rangers started Section 7AAA play on Monday afternoon. Forest Lake hosted the 11-seed, North Branch. The home team won, 7-1, to advance to double-elimination play.
