In his first run for political office, Orono businessman Scott Honour has announced that State Senator Karin Housley, R-St. Mary’s Point, will be his running mate in his campaign for Minnesota governor.
There will be no Housley for governor campaign this fall. Karin Housley, the first-term District 39 state senator, had been mulling a run for the Republican endorsement to challenge DFL Gov. Mark Dayton.
