The St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, under the National Park Service, will conduct a controlled burn in Arcola sometime during April or May. Arcola is located in Washington County, four miles north of Stillwater. The projected fire will help manage invasive species and promote the re-establishment of native species and habitat.
